Guidelines for tack and attire appointments for the WHS Corinthian Class
Appointments are important. Here are some guidelines. For a complete list you can refer to The Chronicle of the Horse Appointments.
- Flat bridle with no rubber on reins 
- Flat breastplate 
- Spurs for call back, can leave off over fences 
- No saddle pad for call back, can use over fences 
- Black dress boots, have boots straps to match boots, either flat black for patent leather or brown for men 
- White string gloves under saddle flaps, fingers forward, wear brown gloves 
- Adults carry hunt whip, children optional 
- Sandwich case for ladies and children with proper sandwich in wax paper and sherry or port for women and tea for children; men carry flask 
- Approved plain helmet or top hat, women wear hairnet 
- If staff have wire cutters, no sandwich case
