The $5,000 Warrenton Horse Show Hunter Classic

Entry Fee:
$200

To be conducted as a two-round class over an inviting hunter course of 3’ or 3’3”, open to junior, amateur and professional riders. The top 12 or top one-third of the entries will return over a second course. The prize money will be divided as $4,500 to the overall top 8 and $250 to high point junior and $250 to high point amateur. Riders must declare divisions and height before the start of the classic. No rider may ride more than 2 horses in any height section. To be eligible, horse must compete in at least one over fences class at 2022 Warrenton Horse Show.

There will be a course walk and riders/trainers reception prior to the class. Formal attire requested.

Prize Money:

$1,350 / $1,125 / $705 / $450 / $360 / $210 / $150 / $150 Ribbons to 12th place

Winner receives the Charles H. Ackerman Trophy given in his memory by friends of the family

Wendy Berol Gifford Memorial Trophy to be presented in her memory to the highest first-round scoring adult amateur who also competed in the Adult Amateur Hunter Division during the show. Trophy donated in her memory by her many friends. Keeper trophy donated by Jennifer Bainbridge.

POINTS FOR PETS

When a rider earns a score over 75 in the Toyota Hunter Classic, $5 will be donated to The Fauquier SPCA for each point over 75.
